Not much to add to the good advice you received. Regarding your eating disorder, based on my personal experience (eating even when I am not hungry) try exercise, even walking can help. But it's better if you establish a routine that you adhere to and is rather intensive. I am skeptic by nature about faith based beliefs, but if there's any subject that would bring out the word faith to my mind, it is exercise. It cures, or at least helps cure many physical and mental problems. -

by The Rebel inso i was fooled by the witnesses.
what can i learn from that?
not to accept things at face value but to seek out opinion and different view points.. hence my question " do you believe man landed on the moon?.

Let's hope letters like these motivate the Royal Commission to contact other governments and share their findings so these other government do as the Royal Commission has done. I am rather optimistic that the recent events in Australia will spread to other places in the world. -

Didn't he say something like "I have empathy for whatever tragedy she had" when referring to BCG. "Whatever" makes it generic and vague, and makes the whole statement insincere. So he claims not to know any details about the case, but he claims empathy. What a phony! -

"Another motivating force to help one to break the habit [of masturbating] may be the desire to be of greater service in the Christian congregation." Wt 9/15/1973
How do they manage to always end up with the same solution. Preaching and privileges is JW's panacea.

2007 Awake mentions Child Abuse in Australia!
by SG098 inin the october 2007 awake!
page 11, the b0rg had the audacity to say this concerning child sexual abuse: "sadly, though, most of such [child abuse] crimes go unpunished by authorities today.
in australia, for example, it has been estimated that only 10 percent of offenders are prosecuted, and few are convicted.

To those of us now FREE....
by The Rebel inon another thread i commented " the most wonderful thing for me about having left the organisation is giving an education to my child, encouraging him to be dedicated and committed to the person he himself wants to be".

I have never been a JW, but have been "in" for 20 years by virtue of my marriage to a JW. For 17 years I believed that the JW leadership was a group of sincere, religious people. After three years of research and thanks to blogs like these, I have learned the dishonest, cruel, possibly criminal kind of organization the WT is. As a result of my investigations I pulled my 12 year old out of it 3 years ago. No more preaching or theocratic school. Fast forward to today, he can claim a long list of worldly friends from Japan, South Korea, his school swim team, his school Track and Field, his school theater classes. He is having one hell of a time being a worldly kid. So far, he's traveled to Europe and South America (we are from the U.S.). He is going to Japan next year and South Korea the year after. And yes, he is a straight A student aiming for the best possible university and lots of worldly goals.
Big middle finger to you Watchtower! Can't have this kid

The Mark,
Don't wait until Friday, apologize now. Get informed about the job of the Royal Commission. They have done a superb job so far, and there's nothing, absolutely nothing that warrants your comment. You really have a handicapping problem trusting other people. Believing that the world is corrupt to the core says more about you than it does about the world. You remind me very much of JW's that believe that everyone [else] in in the "hands of the wicked". Are you still mentally in?
